There are so many add-ons for Firefox out there its hard to tell the difference between whats useful and whats not. When I am developing sites and testing in Firefox there’s two tools that are must-haves:

FireBug – By far the most useful add-on I have ever used. It lets you inspect everything on your page from the DOM, to the CSS, to the javascript. Best of all, you can make edits to code on the page your viewing and see it the difference it makes in real-time. This is perfect for getting the CSS on a certain element just right.

FoxMarks – I am developing from multiple places all the time. From work, from my laptop, and from my desktop. Foxmarks lets you synchronize your bookmarks on all your computers. Now when you find that helpful site you don’t have to re-remember it when you get home – it’s already in your bookmarks!

Enjoy!
