I’m a UFC fan. Not a die-hard fan like a few friends, but a fan nonetheless. When UFC 111 was announced I was excited to get to see GSP fight even if it is against a somewhat easy opponent. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any of the fights because Rogers was unable to deliver the UFC feed. Not just to me, but everywhere.
Restaurants surely lost thousands of dollars because of the screw up. I had one manager tell me that the Rogers representative they were on the phone with tried to deflect the blame onto the bar for not having a backup service provider. Unbelievable.
All I can hope for is that Rogers doesn’t fall apart when the NHL playoffs are on.
